Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam

The room was exceptionally clean and the staff in the restaurant were very helpful and caring. The decorations in the hotel had a neat eco-wooden style.

The view from the bath was obstructed by a building, which was not made clear in the photos. the wait times for taking food and drink orders were occasionally quite long.

We recently stayed at Hotel Jakarta to celebrate my birthday and it was outstanding. We picked the hotel for its sustainability and natural setting - the bamboo features and tropical trees offered a tranquil feeling. The beautiful pool area was perfect for a pleasant swim, and the breakfast had a great selection of choices. The junior suite with a shower and bath had a stunning river view and the staff even left a birthday card and cake on our arrival.

I recommend this hotel.

I loved beautiful decor of the superior king room. It had excellent facilities in the bathroom : terry bath robes, a shower cap and towels. I came here for 3 nights and had a fairly nice stay.

The breakfast buffet in Café Jakarta was a delightful experience. The Indonesian fried rice was an unexpected delight, and the excellent home-baked breads were reminiscent of a small, artisanal bakery. The large choice of fruit made me feel like a kid in a candy store.

Receptionist was cold and disagreeable.

The spa and gym offer amazing views, I especially enjoyed the well-equipped gym with its view over the IJ. The Malabar cocktail bar on the eighth and ninth floors is a great spot for sunset. The design of the hotel is focused on sustainability.

Oh, and let's not forget how much I loved the upholstery, it really set the mood of serenity - cream-beige is such an exciting color choice. So unique. Ahem.

Cozy, 4-star hotel with best staff and fast wifi. The beds were very comfy, the rooms were brand-new and fashionable. The bathroom was huge here, I loved it.

The location of the hotel is convenient, as it is just out of the city center and away from the crowds of tourists coming from the cruise ships. It's easy to get into the city by bus or tram, and in the evenings, the restaurant serves great food. the room is spacious, and the bathroom is modern, clean and well-equipped.

The staff do not always seem friendly, and they ask for a deposit before checking in, which was not stated on the site.

My time there was perfectly pleasant. I got the double room, it was brand-new and exceptional. The pool was lovely and I had bottled drinks in the roof top bar. Wonderful views and beautiful garden. The restaurant was spectacular, with appetising dishes.

The bed was very comfortable. The hotel design is lovely. The staff, particularly Yelena and Andres, were fantastic. The saunas in the wellness center were a highlight. The breakfast, especially the Eggs Benedict, was tasty. The spa and sauna were clean, nice, and spacious. The hotel is new and fresh, with stylish rooms. The views from the 9th floor overlooking boats and cruise ships were delightful. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options and good self-serve coffee machines. The location is conveniently close to a bus station with direct routes to Amsterdam Centraal Station.

The room was amazing! The balcony had breathtaking views of the river and the city. It felt like I was living in a postcard. As a budget traveller, this was a luxurious experience I'll never forget.

The glass walls in the suites were a bit too open for my liking.

The hotel had amazing facilities and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The cleanliness was top-notch and the breakfast offered a variety of options. Additionally, the transportation was convenient as there was a bus station nearby and the location to Amsterdam Centraal station was ideal, making it easy to access most attractions on foot.

Luxurious room, attentive staff and comfortable bed. And it also had marvellous view. The tasty breakfast had lots of meals and the food I tasted was good.

I keep choosing this hotel for my stay because of the helpful staff and the perfect amenities. The late departure assistance on my first stay was memorable. With Wi-Fi, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, and more, it suits me perfectly. I'm coming back for Easter.

Peace of mind

There were only two types of pillows and after spending a week lodged our neck still has pain. We asked for another type of pillow and answer was : all our hotels have the same ones.

We had a lovely time staying here. This place is in a great location just outside the city center and close to a tram station. The staff provided exceptional service and were very helpful in recommending places to visit. The room was well equipped with iron and coffee machine. We enjoyed the delicious restaurant food, particularly the jakarta tea. The indoor pool and spa center were great for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing.

Highly recommend this venue to everyone, no negative aspects to mention.

The hotel itself is peaceful, we loved location and rooms. It is nestled in a downtown area short walk to the Center and the cruise ships.

It is a contemporary property located in Zeeburg district so close to the train station and the centre and tram.

I found the design of the hotel and its location facing a canal to be spectacular. I loved the staff, room and breakfast.

I would only have one problem with that, because we had expressly reserved an extra large double bed and they gave us two beds, but they did not solve it, which did not make me very happy.

The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The access to the hotel is very central. The staff is very nice.

The price of the hotel restaurant was excessive for the quality of the food which was very normal.

We were in Jakarta two years ago and it was great... Today I think that the hotel is aging badly... The breakfast is not as big. The staff less attentive... The shower head that makes noise. It's a pity. Vigilance.+++++

Everything was absolutely perfect, hotel is impeccably kept, ultra clean, we were celebrating a wedding anniversary and I had reported it to the hotel, bottle of a very good proscecco was waiting for us in the cool of the room... for that, thank you very much:). We had a suite located at the "tip" of the hotel, on the 6th floor, view is incredible and suite is absolutely superb, with Italian shower, bathtub in the middle of the bathroom, with everywhere an absolutely breathtaking view... we loved it... bedding is of exceptional quality, we slept very well... staff is helpful, smiling, pleasant, kind and very efficient. Lunch was served at the table because of the covid measures, it was delicious!. We were eaten at the hotel restaurant, there too, it was delicious and all in a beautiful tropical, wooded setting. swimming pool is very nice, well lit, spotlessly clean, water neither too hot nor too cold... in short, nothing to complain about, we will come back.

Unfortunately because of the Covid measures, sauna and steam room were closed, hotel is not to blame... Maybe a little far from the center, bus 48 serves the hotel every 10'...
